Hindustan ka asar Pakistan ki awam par (Part II)

By: Faisal Hussain, Uploaded: 1st June 2012

As I mentioned in my earlier blog about the influence of India on Pakistan is max out, so what do we do now? Answer is pretty simple we need to start owning what is ours. I believe our people had been through most awful scenarios and we have the potential to do more than the world expects from us.

What do we don’t have? We have lack of unity and discipline, see all the developing countries of the world have one thing in common, it’s the feeling of consideration which can be also described as humanity, we have lack of motivation and why is that I ask this very question to myself, apparently we have lost the pathway of our religion.

Islam teaches us to counterbalance, not go all “radical”. So what do we have? We have everything, we have more than anyone can expect, we had the best politician in the form of (Late) Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, we have the best musicians Like Rohail hayat, Abida Parveen, (Late) Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (R.I.P),

Faraz anwar, Madame Noor Jahan, Atif Aslam, Actors like Wahid Muraad , Moin Akhtar and many more. What we are not trying to comprehend is we need to endure them rather envy them and create barriers for them, since somewhere or another they all have paid their dues, and we are ought to respect them. Speaking of which have you seen the coke studio of India? It seems like a joke studio.

We have talent in every aspect of life, but despondently all that talent goes unseen or in the hands of few opportunist who claim to be economically on the rise.

My mind fails to understand one simple question. Why do we have to add vulgar dances in our movies (Mujras) just to get audience in cinema, I do understand the sentimental of the people who usually watch these kind of movies, but no offense to anyone we need to open our minds and think on a broader scale now, we can’t meet the requirements of international film industry by some actress dancing as if she is possessed by the Devil himself, its high time now I suppose, No Aman ki Asha is going to work in our favor and fool us. We don’t get visa for India: so “Aman ki Asha” is what triumphs over our new generation talent? Perhaps yes.

India has done wonders, they have used their artist for their country’s benefit, every Indian celebrity is endorsing some multinational brand so they can work as a product and investors and businessmen can invest their money in a county like India through a better medium.

They have Microsoft, IBM, Vodafone, Orange, Ferrari, Apple, Yahoo and many re-known international franchises.

It’s all a matter of interest; it depends on each individual to decide that whether they are willing to put personal interest at the stack of National Interest.

People with such contradictory lines of thinking it clearly calls for a volatile mix. Have you ever seen people dancing in the Mazaar e Quaid on Indian tunes? What is that suppose to mean? Are we paying our leader a tribute for the independent land that he fought for, or we like to dance to forget our miseries and live like there is no tomorrow.

There is no conclusion for such debate, so matter is all in the hand of those who have the authority to make a difference, every individual should work in the nation’s benefit. Apart from this we should stop judging people and if we can’t encourage them then we shouldn’t discourage them.

Government needs to invest very heavily on our Pakistani artist ensuring that business men and entrepreneurs of Pakistan will invest, having said that: money that is being made by the artist or business men should be circulated within Pakistan rather than going abroad.

Why should not blind Nationalism be our priority, but raise awareness over how our actions may affect the country? I mean enough is enough, we have being pressured by major countries of world, we have faced enough financial and loss of our dear people who had faith in their country but they died for doing nothing, we have faced a lot of tribulations, its time that we country should unite ourselves and show the evil powersof the world what we are capable of rather than just crying over a spilled milk.

Our Country talent needs to be recognized, our people need to understand that once we ruled the world, we know what we have, but we don’t know how to ensure that it can be used for productive purposes.
